On 22nd April 2012, Mason ran the Mini Marathon road race in a time of 19:32, which compared very favourably to the older boys. Mason placed in 83rd position in the Under 13 Boys Results.

Toby Buchan competed in a Pentathlon at Lee Valley on Sunday 25th March 2012 and achieved a PB in every event. 60mH in 11.2, 4.11m in LJ, 8.32m in Shot, 1.41m in High Jump and 2:34.6 in 800m.
