November 2022: Dylan Mills

Dylan has seen a general improvement in his running over the season and win in the NWLL as well as improvement to his 800m PB

Dylan successfully returned to Cross Country this autumn winning the U15 Boys race at Horsenden Hills and through his dedication and hard training has established himself as the clubs leading runner.

Artie has demonstrated dedication to his training been a regular competitor for the club and has managed to get his 800m PB below 2:30.

June 2022: Gabriel Edwards

Gabriel has continued to develop as a sprinter after moving up an age group. He has broken a number of club records and is top 10 ranked U13 he also won two County Titles despite running against athletes a year older.

May 2022: Thomas Wassermann

Thomas demonstrated his versatility this month wining all three of his MYAL events but also hurdling in the UYDL and running in the 4x100m relay. He was also crowned County U17M Hammer Champion.

April 2022: Elkie Baker

Elkie has trained hard over the winter developing her throwing technique and has mastered the full rotation throw demonstrated by improving her PB by almost 5m, breaking the club twice in April and being ranked 9th U15G in the UK despite it being her first year in the age group. She won silver in both Discus and Shot at the Middlesex Championships and scored 45 pts for her school in the ESAA Cup including 25.75m in the Discus

March 2022: Ella Burridge

Ella completed her Indoor season with Gold in the U15 Girls 300m at the Middlesex Championships as well as bronze in the 200m. Ella has shown consistent dedication since she returned to training after injury and should have a great outdoor season this summer. This was demonstrated by her setting new U15 Girls Club Records in the 200m and 300m.

February 2022: Maia Hampton Phillips

Maia has had an outstanding 2021/2022 competing in ten cross country races including the grand slam of Middlesex, South of England and National Cross-Country Championships. on 12th February 2022 Maia placed 2nd in the Northwest London League in Harrow in a time of 21.05.

January 2022: Milton Cooper

On Sunday 16th January 2022, Milton attended the South of England Indoors Championships for Under 15 Boys and competed in the 300 Metres. The Championships were held at the Lee Valley Athletics Centre, and were the highest-level competition Milton has ever competed in. Milton won gold in a time of 39.25 seconds. Milton has qualified and will run in the 300m at the National Indoor Championships.

November 2021: Avery Dietrich

Avery has competed for London Heathside for six consecutive years from 2016, when he competed in a Pentathlon, a mere month after his 11th Birthday. After his most recent Cross Country competition on 30th October 2021, still aged 16, he went on to process the results for the Senior races on his mobile phone!

A self inflating tent. This is London Heathside's 2nd such tent. The first purchased by Bedo Draskoczy in Jan 2018

October 2021: Amy Kirk

Amy Kirk took 6th place in the Under 13 Girls, Metropolitan Cross Country League race, which took place in Claybury near Woodford on Saturday 16th October 2021. Amy was the 2nd London Heathside runner, behind Kiara Corkin, who won the race, and won the Jack Petchey Award in June 2021.

September 2021: Izzy Watkins

On 24th July 2021, Issy won the Under 15 Girls 800 metres, Middlesex County Championships in 2:26.57. She was selected to represent her County, Middlesex at the South of England Inter County Championships in Oxford, on 11th September 2021, which Issy also won with an impressive club record time of 2:18.29.

June 2021: Kiara Corkin

At the London Heathside home fixture of the Middlesex Young Athletes League, Kiara stormed around the 1500 metres, winning, in a new Under 13 Girls club record of 5:04.87.

May 2021: Edward Metcalf

On 23rd May 2021, in Perivale, Edward threw the Under 13 Boys 400gm Javelin a distance 26.55m which was a new London Heathside Club Record and a Middlesex Young Athletics League record.

Hammer implements for training, 4kg, 5kg and 6kg weights.

April 2021: Magdeline Paitoo

On 11/04/2021, Magdeline competed in a young athletes 100m Sprints tournament, winning her heat in 12.65 seconds, the fastests run of the day, then won her Semi Final and the Final.

Extending a permanent power supply to track side, for purposes of electronic timing and results.

March 2021: Lorna Dumbleton

Through the 2020/2021 Covid-19 Pandemic Lorna was to be seen regularly running up and down Parkland Walk, sometimes with her sister Evelyn but often alone.

A back extension machine for the gym or cardio room.

February 2021 : Koppany Szentes

During the Covid-19 Lockdown Koppany visited the Arsenal FC Stadium, where a 5,000m distance is measure. By chance 3 older boys were doing the same thing, and Kops beat them all in 19:57.52 (pb)

Twenty Hoody's printed with the words: "Athlete 1-0 Covid [and] London Heathside [underneath]". The hoody's were presented to young athletes who showed great enthusiasm over the lockdowns.

During the Covid-19 lockdown with restrictive ratio's of Coach to young athletes, Fabienne stepped forward to assist by coaching the Under 11's and encouraging them to participate.

Won the award for:

During the summer of 2019, Montana ran 200 Metres best time of 30.9 as an 11 year old. One year later as a 12 year old, Montana improved his previous best time by over 4 seconds running 26.8
