Second Sunday League fixture - Trent Park 1st December
Trent Park Running Club cordially invite you to the second Sunday League fixture of the 2019 - 2020 Season on Sunday 1st December starting at 10.30 am
Location: Trent Park Country Park, Cockfosters Entrance, EN4 0DZ
Time: 10.30am start
Course: 5 miles [8K] of rolling park and woodland, as in previous years
Surface: Grass and gravel paths. Trail shoes recommended
Facilities: Public toilets available near café and car park area
Kit: Unsupervised area around the start and finish
Travel: Parking is available within Trent Park but is limited. If you do intend to drive, please car-share as much as possible. There is NO parking available at Southgate Hockey Club in the Park. Please DO NOT attempt to park there. Car parking is available at the Cockfosters entrance to Trent Park, Cockfosters Road, London, EN4 0JZ
Given the proximity of Trent Park to Cockfosters and Oakwood underground stations, use of public transport is strongly recommended. Cockfosters tube station car park (EN4 ODZ) is only about 10 minutes walk from Trent Park, where there are 336 spaces and as Arsenal aren’t playing at home there should be plenty of spaces. Parking costs £3 on Sundays although I believe you have to pay using the PaybyPhone app - https://www.ncp.co.uk/find-a-car-park/car-parks/cockfosters-stn-tfl/ There are a further 145 spaces in the Oakwood tube car park (N14 4UT), costing £5 on Sundays.
Race Course: You can find an interactive course map at –

The start (and finish) will be at the opposite end of the central footpath to the cafe and toilets (at the end where the Wildlife Sanctuary is).
Additional Notes:
• Please be aware that wearing headphones or other impediments to hearing is no longer permitted. Runners will be disqualified.
• Please be mindful that this is a public park and we therefore share it with many other users.
• First aid will be present. Please report any issues to the nearest marshal who will assist
• Running is an intense physical exercise. Please do not run if you feel unwell or have any injuries.
Contact: Laura Boothman on 07792 191165 or Mike Hickey on 07712 187115 (the Heathside Sunday League XC captains) if you have any queries. The sunday league races are great events, all welcome, all standards. You don't need to book, just turn up and run. Spikes or trail shoes or trainers are all fine (depending on the weather). Post race cake is very welcome too!
