Christmas Day Parkruns and Ribble Valley 10k

Apart from one road race at Ribble Valley, the week’s reported action consisted solely of parkruns, held on Christmas day. No news on whether Santa Outfits were on show.

In summary, it can be noted that 1st placings were recorded by Seyfu Jamaal and Hattie Munday ( Finsbury Park ), Thomas Stottor ( Horspath ), and Lily Woolcock ( Kesgrave )

Other quick times and high place finishes were recorded by Harry Klieman ( 4th Finsbury Park ), Richard Macaulay ( 3rd Oak Hill ), Julia Bijl ( 2nd Worcester ), Fran Owen ( 3rd Worcester ), Chris Gracie ( 4th Victoria Park Glasgow ) , Matthew Cockerill ( 3rd Dalby Forest ) and James Gibson ( 3rd Bartley Park ),

In other news, Rebecca Marshall added another road race PB to her collection this season by picking up one at the Ribble Valley 10K in Lancashire, a race which always boasts a top quality field - leading times this year were 28m 59s for Men and 31m 38s for Women )
