Middlesex 10Km, Victoria Park, 1.10.23

Another great turnout of Heathsiders at the Middlesex 10km in Victoria Park on Sunday. The still conditions were perfect for running on the flat course around the park. The greatest challenge were the numerous dog walkers and Bikers. Matthew Rallison took it out hard and had built up a considerable lead after two laps. However two Serpentine runners started to eat into his lead but Matthew crossed the line 9 seconds ahead of the runners up. With Ismail Abukr 7th and Isaac Edwards 9th the Men retained their Championship title with the women runners up. The Mens>50 team also won gold and all the other teams silver.
