Jacob has compiled a report of various road races which took place over the past week, which included victories for Sam MacAulay at the Chingford League fixture, and for Barry Kelly and Katie Brown in separate races at Olympic Park ; plus a fine Marathon debut for Kelly Thorneycroft, all described as follows ;


Chingford League 5K, Lee Valley VeloPark,   11/12/24  

 

“ Earlier in the week The Chingford League was at the Velopark for a 5k road race.  Sam MacAaulay won, with a number of other good runs on the night, including a club debut for Peter Otto.  In the women's race, Francesca was 7th overall and Div 2 race winner “

Herts Sunday League XC, Fairlands Valley, Stevenage      15/12/24

 

Moving onto Cross Country, 10 Heathsiders made the journey up to Stevenage to compete in the 4th race of the Sunday League series ; there was a good turnout from the mens’ team, lead home by Martin in 34th place overall, while Satu was our first woman home in 12th place . Team results not available as yet
