Charles Verrall (1944-2023)

The Club were sad to hear of the passing in October of Charles Verrall who was Club Chairman from 2001 to 2004. His wife Ann Scher also sadly passed away this month.

Although Charles took up the sport late in life he was a successful master athlete, competing at world championship level and winning British Veterans’ Athletics championships national titles.
