SEAA Southern Road Relays, Milton Keynes 27.3.22
Our senior road race teams headed to Milton Keynes at the weekend to take part in the Southern Road Relay Championships which comprised 12 stage for the men and 6 for the women with runners either doing a short lap (5km) or long lap (9km). A very young Men’s team settled into 31st place early on in their race before steadily moving up the field after stage 7 to finish in 19th place. In the Women’s race Brogan got the team off to a good start in 7th which slipped back to 12th after 3 legs but again the club finished strongly making up ground to finally cross the finishing line in 9th place.
Both teams have now potentially qualified for the National Road Relay Championships in Mansfield on 9th April.
