Heathsiders Summer Running

A brief race report for the week of 30th July with strong performances all round.

Battersea Park 1 mile relays 30th July
The team results are now published but not by club. Sion Lewis ran the anchor leg for Supersonic 2 who came in 7th place who ran in 4:42 minutes and achieved a 1 mile PB.

Hercules Wimbledon Athletics Club 3000m night 1st August
Three Heathsiders ran in the Hercules Wimbledon Athletic Club 3000 m night as part of their open graded meetings: the summer series. Sion Lewis attained another PB coming 3rd place in the 3rd race of the night running in 9:22 minutes.

The Regent’s Park 10K Summer Series 5th August
Seven recorded results for the club with notable performance from Sion Lewis, 5th overall; Jonathon Shipley 9th overall, 2nd in age category and Carl Heap 102nd overall and 2nd in age category. Well done. It was apparently rather warm .

ParkRun results
Heathsiders were park running on the 4th August, many as tourists at home and abroad. There were many notable performances with club members achieving podium finishes overall or in gender position. Richard Macaulay and Andy Barnes both achieved 1st place. The results can be found by following this link.
