Storm Eunice confirms Senior Women as Met League Champions 2022

The Senior Womans Met League Trophy

Storm Eunice saw the last Met League cancelled and our Senior Women confirmed Champions for the fourth year in a row with the men 3rd overall. The Club have had their most successful Met League season finishing 2nd in both the Senior and Junior Howard Williams Trophy . Elsewhere there was road racing from as far afield as Seville and indoor track action from the nearly as exotic Lee Valley and Newham.

Met League Season Review 2021-22

With the Met League at the weekend unfortunately cancelled we have no report but can provide the final individual and team standings after another successful XC Season. 2nd Places in both Senior and Junior Howard Williams Trophies is the best return ever for the Club. The Women retaining their title for the 4th year includes 4 wins from Beth Hawling who took the Women's title with Brogan Wallace 3rd. The Women also won the Vets League. The Men matched last years 3rd place with lots of solid performances the Vets also finished 3rd.

Our Juniors have had another great season and like the Seniors the girls have led the way with team 2nd places for the U13's and Junior Women. Individually Kiara Corkin, Amy Kirk, Hattie Munday and Maia Hampton Philips all finished in top ten individually. The U11 Boys also finished 2nd with Rory Willis 4th individually. The team finished behind last years winners WG&EL in 2nd place one better than last year. The club are also leading the NWLL XC League standings as well.
