Swim Long Eton Dorney, 22.9.24
Hannah Yip reports on the Swimming :race at Long Dorney:-
The Swim Long Eton Dorney races took place in the early afternoon after the triathlons. Rain and thunderstorms were forecast originally, but we were lucky that the weather stayed mild. The water temperature was 17 degrees.
There were 112 finishers for the 5km swim. David and I found the middle of the 'M' shaped course a little difficult for sighting but we were both pleased with our respective times, despite the fact that we were some way behind the majority of the field. Do we want to try a 10km next year...?
