Sarah Swinhoe triumphs at Watford Half
There were some great race results over the weekend. The ever popular Watford Half Marathon at the weekend had a big Heathside turnout, with stand out results being 3rd man Andy Barnes and first woman Sarah Swinhoe! Also over the weekend was the Warwick Half, Chingford League 5 miles in Victoria Park, the NWLYAL on Hampstead Heath and the South of England Indoor Champs where 3 club records were broken. A few races have slipped through the net in the last couple of weeks (Fred Hughes 10, Farnborough Winter Half marathon, LFOTM, Regents Park 10K and 5K, Battersea Park 5K and Seville HM) so I’ve included these late results at the end.

Watford Half
Twenty-two Heathsiders took part in this popular, pre-Spring half Marathon, and results show that winter/early Spring training is paying off. Andy Barnes was our first Heathsider in and third overall, Sarah Swinhoe had an amazing run coming home first woman, closely followed by Chloe Wilkinson who was second woman and 1st in age. Ed Boden was 1st M50, Paul Beale was 3rd M50, Dominic Jackson was 1st M60, Gavin Evans 4th M60, and Elinor East was 4th FV35
