Sunday League and Sadistic XC

The final race of the season was held at Royston on 19 February.  There were 4 intrepid Heathsiders who braved the tough ups and downs.  At the front, Pete had a storming run, racing up and down the hills!  Results as follows:

191st Bob Gould 50:27
235th Laura Boothman (74th woman) 55:58
261 finishers.

One of our number commented that the course had been designed by a sadist, as no soon did you go down a hill than you had to go up one!  That was a little harsh – if you really want sadistic XC, watch this clip from a Midlands XC race
