Sunday League, NWLL, Chingford League, Mornington Chasers 10K and Wendover Woods Half
There were many excellent results over the weekend: Abel Woldegiorgis came 2nd in the Trent Park Sunday League, Jackie and Martin both came 1st in their age groups in the Wendover Woods Half, Deng Akol was 3rd in the Mornington Chasers 10K and in the NWLL league Sam Turner won the U17 Mens race, Edith Deakin was 2nd in the U13 Girls and Charlie Nicolson was 3rd in the U15 Boys. We are still waiting for the Liddiard Trophy results.

Abel Woldegiorgis coming home in 2nd place at the Sunday League in Trent Park
Twenty-six Heathsiders took part in this friendly Sunday League xc event in Trent Park. Abel Woldegiorgis came home in second place, Molly Harrison was our first woman home, Sarah Swinhoe was 3rd FV45, Caroline White 1st FV65 and Bob Gould 1st V80. The next race takes place in Stevenage on 15th December.

Simon Baker reported: “Plenty of great performances from our Young Athletes at Fryent Park. Sam Turner won the U17 Mens race, Edith Deakin was 2nd in the U13 Girls while Charlie Nicolson was 3rd in the U15 Boys. We recorded 3 2nd places in the team competition U11 Boys, U13 Girls and U17 Men. The U15 Boys were 3rd.”
