Southern Championships Silverware and 100m PBs/Club records at Lee Valley

More track action whis week with Elkie and Malaki medalling at the Southern Age Group Championships, at Lee Valley Asia Emanuel broke her Club U17W 100m record and Leon Seale sets a new 100m PB of 10.67s

Southern U13/U15/U17 Track and Field Championships, Walton, 10-11.8.24

Despite a number of our athletes deciding not to compete we had two medalists’s at the Southern Championships. Malakai qualified as a fastest loser but in the final finished 3rd in a photofinish on 3 1000ths.

The hot weather appeared to impact the U17 Discus however Elkie threw her winning distance in the first round which proved to be over 3m further than the silver medallist.

The latest Be-Fit open saw some great performances by our sprinters. Leon Seale improved his 100m PB to 10.67s while Gabriel Edwards also took a chun of his PB. Asia Emanuel ran under 12.6s fro the first time improving her club U17W record in the process. Our Para athletes Helena and Walid also had good runs.
