This proved to be a very quiet week with regards to races, results were thin on the ground apart from a good park run turnout on the 23rd.

Read MoreSaturday saw 30-plus Heathsiders traipsing off to Oxford to compete in the South of England Masters’ and Inter-County championships. The performance of the day belonged to 16-year-old Jem O’Flaherty who was the first Middlesex runner home in the under 17 event, and came ninth overall.

We had a huge variation in races this weekend from xc , indoor track, 5ks, a one miler, a 5 miler, a 10 miler, a handful of half marathons, a 15k and a 73K and the news that Sandra Buckton is fastest parkrun lady in Germany this week!

There was success for the Men’s team as they picked up 2nd spot thanks to great running from Richard Macauley who was first home in 8th place, backed up by Esa Valtanen (13th) and Jonathan Litchfield (2nd in his age category and 17th overall).
