Read MoreAs might be expected, there are no races to report on for the Christmas weekend. However, Heathsiders made up for it by taking to parkruns in record numbers, with 95 running on Christmas Eve and 65 on Christmas Day.

But despite it all, Seyfu broke the club record for 5 miles, coming 7th place in the Battersea Under Lights Christmas 5 mile race on Friday and Malakai set 4 new club records in the Pentathlon and won a silver medal at Lee Valley at the weekend!

In addition there was a win at the Young Athletes League for Sam Turner and a second place for Hattie Munday . Elsewhere a couple of marathons took place In New York and Nice in unseasonable warm conditions
