In normal times, last Sunday would have been one of the happiest and hardest days of the year for many Heathsiders, when they would have put their months of training in all weather to the test by running in the London marathon, cheered on by huge crowds and loyal and admiring clubmates.

Top 10 age group rankings were recorded by Caroline White and Sara Black.

Read MoreSomewhat ironically in what is likely to be the last weekend of racing for a while, there was plenty of varied racing activity at the weekend. This included the last race of the XC season the National Schools Champs, where Thomas Archer took the kudos with a 6th place finish, the Tri Counties Indoor Track championships, and road races with the Brentwood and Bath Half Marathons and a 20 miler at Gloucester. The majority of the local park runs also went ahead.
Read More10.03.2020 It was a busy weekend of racing generally, with a special triumph for Ruth, Sue and Fiona at the Middlesex Masters XC in Stanborough for winning the V45 team gold. Some impressive results were also seen at the Hillingdon 20, and a number of club records were smashed at the British Masters Indoor track and field.
