The main event this week was the Southern XC Championships, Beckenham Palace Park, with many great performances. We also have results from the London Indoor championships as well as a very speedy 1 mile run in the USA by Liam Garrett.

On the familiar home terrain of Hampstead Heath, the club celebrated an immensely successful Middlesex Championships, at both team and individual level. Of particular note were the Senior Men’s team ( for the first time since 1984 ), and the U13 Girls team winning their respective Team competition. There were also individual medals for Thomas Archer, Seyfu Jamaal, Hattie Munday ,and Koppany Szentes, plus several other team medal winning performances. In addition the Chingford League continued with a fixture at Epping Forest.

The 4th Met League of the season took place on Saturday in Welwyn with impressive results all round – and the Senior Women coming 1st. There were also some excellent results from the Southern U17/U15/U13 Indoor Championships at Lee Valley over the weekend, with 5 new club records showing the excellent strides the club is making in track and field

The New Year opened with the traditional Serpentine 10km at Hyde Park with Seyfu 2nd and also saw Heathsiders compete indoors at Lee Valley. There was also a park Run Double Header at the weekend.
