A bit of a fallow week this week, with Spring marathoners due a non-racing weekend, but there was still the typical mix of Heathsiders out on the roads, track and trails.
Read MoreSeyfu won the London Landmarks Half Marathon by a country mile on Sunday (probably more) as he finished over 5 mins ahead of the field, with Michele Bucci in second place leading the way for a great day at the office for a bunch of Heathsiders who had decided that one half marathon in this campaign just wasn’t enough!
Read MoreThe half marathon season is in full flow. Many of us are training for a full marathon - the likes of London, Boston, Manchester, Paris and Brighton to name a few, and March offers up nicer weather and a chance to put all that winter training to the test in a “tune up race”.

Read MoreThe inaugural Club 5 Mile road race took place in Finsbury Park,starting with one lap of the track & including 3 times up the hill used in the Parkrun. Seyfu was the comfortable winner, with Joe & Scarlett having a good battle for 2nd and 3rd. Emma was the first lady home, followed by Eilidh and Tatyana.

Read MoreHighlights from a busy weekend of running include Lemi Mideska’s first place in the U17 category of the NWLL Cross Country league, with Benjy Bediako coming second among the U11s. Josie Hinton was in top form with a PB in the Harrow Half, dipping under 1:20 for the first time as the third woman, while Thomas Foy and Laurie Swan picked up PBs in the low 2:50s in the Seville Marathon,. Meanwhile Elinor East qualified to represent her country in the World Duathlon Champs.

Read MoreThe Cancer Research Winter 10K in Central London was one of the few races that wasn’t cancelled this weekend due to icy roads and tow paths. Many Heathsiders were due to race the Watford H/M and Regents Pk 10K, instead they nursed Bat Mitzvah hangovers, or stayed in bed, or went out on long distance training runs.
