It was almost back to normal on the racing front this weekend, and from the looks of things lockdown doesn’t seem to have been too detrimental to Heathsiders fitness, keenness and speed. On Saturday the juniors had their first races since lockdown, at Lee Valley, with some impressive results, and on Sunday there was some great racing from the U17s and over.

More physically present racing took place at the weekend with Andy Law rising to the challenge of a super hot 100 mile North Downs Way and 4 Heathsiders taking part in a Covid-19 pilot race at Chelmsford.

Steve ran the Centurion 50k, winning the V50 category in a fine time of 3:26 (going through the marathon mark in an impressive 2:55). Two weeks later Steve and his girlfriend Lisa ran the Endure 24-hour race, and together they completed 123 miles.
