Masses of races this sunny weekend kept Heathsiders (and now me) very busy – there was the the Ickenham 5 our newest addition to the Rob Jackson Road Race championship, the Blenheim Triathlon, a 1000m Peak Race in Snowdonia, the Jubilee River swim, St Albans Half, Hull 10K and much, much more.

Read MoreA fair number of Heathsiders kicked off their summer on the track at Watford. Lily ran a PB in the 100, while everyone else plumped for the 1500. Particularly impressive were Ni'ia in her club track debut, and Tony comprehensively demolishing the club V50 1500m record.
Read MoreThis Bank Holiday weekend was fairly quiet race-wise for Heathsiders but there were nevertheless plenty of PBs to report. Ollie and Vicky Pound both ran PBs at the Worcester Half Marathon, and Gavin and Alice Parish ran 10k PBs at the Self Transcendence 10k Battersea and Regents Park 10k respectively. Andy Welshman ran 82min45sec in the North Lincs Half Marathon, which he reccomends as a pancake flat half on closed rural roads with fanstastic views. What more could you want?
Read MoreA quietish weekend for racing, but it was obviously a case of quality over quantity, as there were some excellent performances in the Antwerp Marathon from Joe McKeown, Plymouth Half from Jim Connell, in the Bracknell Half from Jesper Lycke, from the handful of Heathsiders who managed to enter the Thames Towpath 10 before it filled up.
