There were rich pickings from the Heathside weekend results at the weekend. These included a first place for our U17 women in the Southern Road Relays (Hattie Munday, Ruby Walls and Izzy Watkins), firsts for Seyfu Jamaal (30:37) and Amy Cook (a 37:58 PB) in the Middlesex 10k and a V50 PB of 34:35 for Ed Boden in the same race.

Read MoreThe highlight of the weekend was a big win for Seyfu in the Big Half. Elsewhere there was fun on the Heath in the annual Duathlon (Pondathon) and earlier in the week young Heathsiders headed off to Southend, the highlights being Malia Anderson-Watson coming first in the discus, and Jayden Smith and Kingston Bennet coming first in 75m, and Kingston also first in 150m and long jump. We also now have the Heathside Club Champs results Pt 2.

Read MoreIssy Watkins produced our best performance over the weekend breaking the club U17W 800m record and taking the gold medal at the South of England Champs. Cian upgraded his 2021 bronze to silver in both the 100m and 200m at the Scottish Champs, and at SAL match 4 we achieved a good number of wins despite the heat and a reduced team.

The highlights were road race wins on different days at Battersea Park for Seyfu Jamaal and Rebecca Bunting, over 10K and 5K respectively.
